We love telling stories, we love flying, we love hiking, we love cycling, and we are passionate about local food and wine. What we love the most is to share all this with you, the same way we treat our best friends. We do not rush. We take time to enjoy the moment.
We are Vipava Valley’s friendliest guides!
We strive for sustainable, responsible, and green tourism. We want to preserve our nature and culture for generations to come. That is the core of the reason to operate in small groups to lower the impact on the environment and the local community. We walk and cycle only on existing paths, and we respect and support every individual winemaker, farmer, or any other local producer who preserves the family heritage and has high sustainability standards. Our guests recognize and support our values and therefore help us to maintain our destination healthy, clean, and green.

"The region is home to dozens of small family-owned and operated wineries that have recently started to open their doors to visitors in the area. Finding them, though, takes a bit more than a google search, so companies like Wajdusna are paving the way for unique ways to experience the best this region has to offer."

"Jani knew the valley like the back of his hand, and his start-up company has blossomed in recent years… Whether you want an activity-laden tour or a lazy bike ride between wineries, I can not recommend this man highly enough to help you make this happen. From early morning hikes to last minute requests, I genuinely believe one of the reasons my Vipava Valley itinerary was so memorable was thanks to the passion of Jani and the Wajdusna team in meticulously planning my visit to personal taste."
"With great gastronomy in the town as well, we’d call it an essential stop on any trip to Slovenia. Check out Wajdusna tour operator for more adventures in Ajdovščina. They are friendly, local and know the town inside out. "
"One of the best ways to explore the region – while sampling its fruits – is on two wheels. Local company Wajdusna organise cycling tours in the region, following the gravel paths and single-track roads that wind their way between grapevines from village to village, and stopping off at cellars for tastings."
