Wheels & Wine

Our new offer allows wheelchair users to experience the magical landscape of the Vipava Valley uniquely. Using a specially adapted tandem bicycle for disabled people, equipped with stable support and safety systems, people with disabilities can go on a cycling tour in complete comfort and safety.

Enjoy cycling on traffic-free paths through vineyards and old Vipava villages, away from the tourist hustle and bustle. A friendly local guide will take you through stories and local legends, introducing you to wine production and the history of viticulture in the Vipava Valley. We will stop a few times to get to know the local stories and the most interesting places like the historic beauty of Vipavski Križ. The last stop will be at a local winery, where we will taste typical local wine varieties and other local delicacies.

The cycle tour is approximately 28 km long and has 500 vertical metres. Most of the time we will ride on unpaved roads through vineyards and old Vipava villages.
